This is my nephew Wyatt. He was born with a cleft lip, as well as a “partial” palate
I took this picture when he was about four months, since then he has had his lip repaired, and looks “normal”.
My sister said to me once that she was the luckiest mother in the world. When I asked why she replayed “because, most mothers only get to fall in love with their child’s smile once, I was blessed to fall in love with two beautiful smiles. Two perfect faces and best of all my son is healthy, he was a beautiful baby boy, and still is.”
As his aunt, I’ll miss his god given face, but the children of this society would treat him like a criminal. They would laugh at him and ridicule him. They would teach him to hate himself. When in reality there is/was nothing wrong with him.
He is perfect.
yep, I’ll never get past this.
So this is the old layout for the Just Cause magazine, that I posted like forever ago, with the new layout. I like the new layout, but I liked the old layout for a few reasons:
- Story is sad, very sad. I mean this women got into an accident when she was pregnant and was forced into premature labor. The violent impact caused her to suffer two torn knee ligaments, a broken hip and, most damaging, a torn placenta. Her daughter was delivered prematurely by emergency C-section.
The baby was only 31 weeks and weighed only 3 pounds, 14 ounces.
why I dislike the new layout
- Not about massive baby feet, I mean this story isn’t about how happy then baby is now, it’s about the issues with getting their insurance to cover her and the baby. They did get the coverage, so that’s happy but for fucks sake damn it…where in this layout dose it say: "baby about died and family’s insurance wouldn’t cover the baby cuz it wasn’t born when the car got hit"
But what the fuck do I know I’m just the graphic designer…
Went to an old friends house Sunday, everything was great. up until she felt the need to show me the birth of her son… Can I ask WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT?!
I know it’s horrible to say , but I’m glade she isn’t having a baby.
